When Laser- und Lichtstrahltechnologie GmbH was founded in 1997, we set ourselves the goal of establishing an efficient mechanical engineering and service company. Since then, we have specialized in laser precision and micromachining.
From the very beginning, we have been driven by the desire to develop new machine concepts and to make lasers highly usable in industry and to further develop them for various areas of application.
Today, the LLT application is an internationally renowned company in the laser micromachining market. Our ideas and machines help set the standard in this market segment.
Our 50-strong team is a healthy mix of young and experienced, thinkers and doers, locals and newcomers. We are a close-knit community united by our fascination for laser technology and our attachment to our location in Thuringia.
Both our proximity to the local technical university and the Ilmenau technology region itself offer us excellent opportunities to benefit from research and cooperation projects and to attract young, committed employees.

As a service provider and partner to customers in high-tech industries such as medical technology, we are always aware of our responsibility for the products that leave our company. This is why our quality management is not an end in itself. Rather, in addition to meeting customer requirements, quality primarily means freedom from defects. And under certain circumstances, this ensures the health and integrity of lives.
The quality management system applies to all areas of the LLT application and aims to continuously improve the quality of our services and products for the benefit of our customers. This also means learning from our own mistakes, i.e. recognizing them at an early stage and initiating appropriate countermeasures.
The effectiveness and application of the quality management system is regularly checked as part of internal audits, but also externally by customers or by our certification body (TÜV Hessen).
