The LLT application Research & funding projects

In the joint project, LLT Applikation GmbH assumes the role of machine manufacturer and system integrator. In the sub-project "Modular micromachining system for USP laser applications", our focus is on the mechanical, optical and control integration of various innovative components from our project partners into a modular overall system. In detail, this involves the integration of powerful USP beam sources in the spectral range of 1 µm and 2 µm, systems for highly dynamic beam shaping and beam deflection as well as associated optimized and further developed optics for focusing and beam manipulation. In combination with high-precision positioning systems, a powerful CNC control system and the typical peripherals for laser processes, a flexible demonstrator is being developed that is tailored to industrial process requirements in order to promote technology transfer and the market launch of new applications. In addition, we use our extensive process know-how to offer future manufacturing services and are actively involved in recruiting specialists for long-term success.
